Meet the Artist

Danielle Lazala (aka DML) is a multidisciplinary self-taught Dominican artist based in Florida and the founder of
DML Paintings, established in 2017.

Before turning her love for art into her full-time career, she studied and worked in the psychology field and now applies her understanding of how people think and feel to create artwork that intentionally impacts its environment. Through thoughtful color selection, composition, and visual storytelling, she designs pieces that uplift communities and shape how people experience a space.

Mostly known for her vibrant color palettes, bold shapes, and playful patterns, she enjoys creating artwork across a wide range of mediums — including canvas, digital design, murals, painted wood installations, and anything else she can get a brush on.

She loves sunshine, picking up random side hobbies to try out, and getting Taco Bell as her reward after completing every mural.
